Bring me your poor, your hungry, your Ebola infected!?!?

http://comicallyincorrect.com

Panic in tough situations is not in my nature. I am more of a “take charge” kind of person who collapses into a gallon of Pabst once the emergency is over. So, I feel that it is important to be concerned about the possibility of Ebola spreading within our borders; I do not believe it is time to hit the panic button – yet.

The Ego in Chief’s actions might change my views about this (and other communicable diseases) if he stays on his current, extremely wishy-washy course. There are so many questions to be answered and contradictory statements and actions to be explained, but the American public will never be told the entire story until we are living smack-dab in the middle of it.

News was released yesterday of a memorandum from The State Department (copied to the Department of Homeland Security and White House) outlining a plan to allow patients with active Ebola to be transported to the United States from West Africa for treatment. Of course, Mr. Less-than-Ernest uhmmed and ahhhhed his way through a lame statement directing reporters to ask those Departments about the memo because the White House had not read it – or some other such blather. According to what has been reported, the total financial toll per patient will be approximately $500,000.00. Seriously? We just spent (more than likely) our next three years’ budgets on accommodating thousands of potentially disease-ridden illegals, feeding them, clothing them and shipping them via air and land across the country without our knowledge! But, we can’t afford more Border Patrol agents or a completed fence?

These are the questions I would love to have answered (but never will):

  • We have sent some 3,000 troops to West Africa to build hospitals and assist with the current Ebola crisis there. Why are we putting them in harm’s way if the ultimate intent is to bring sick people here to be treated?
  • Why did we send regular ground troops and not the Army Corps of Engineers and/or Seabees if the mission is mainly to build medical and quarantine facilities? Oh, that would make sense! Answered my own question, I guess.
  • Part Two of the second question would be “Why are we putting them in harm’s way if the ultimate intent is to bring sick people here to be treated?” Why do we need to build facilities if the sick are not going to be there to use them?
  • I completely agree with the Pentagon and DOD’s assertions that the troops should be quarantined on the base in Italy before repatriating to the U.S. for 21 days to ensure that they have not contracted Ebola. Why is it so obvious a solution to the Military brass, but not to you, Barry, or your minions?
  • If planes can fly sick people into our country, why can’t they just send medical supplies to West Africa and let those people remain there? I am sure that the plasma from those who have survived Ebola can be transported safely by military aircraft and be used to treat patients in their home countries. Sorry, that was common sense. I will self-flagellate later 😉
  • How can the government expect us to trust the CDC (also “the government”) when they say that doctors and nurses exposed to Ebola patients both in West Africa and here at home are responsible enough to self-quarantine when they clearly are not? I don’t know about you, but I have more respect for other people than to hop on a plane to Ohio or take a few subway rides through New York City when I know I am within the 21 day incubation period. Sorry you’re bored. Catch up on your reading. Perhaps refresh your knowledge of the nature of Ebola and the fact that you can go from asymptomatic to full-blown infectious in a New York minute. Just a suggestion…
  • Perhaps the actions of the doctors and nurses who went to West Africa (or the nurse from Dallas who tended to Mr. Duncan) could be considered heroic. However, the “heroism” ends there. I see nothing heroic in not showing their fellow citizens the same respect and concern by disregarding all they know about this virus in order to satisfy their own needs. The nurse who was quarantined in New Jersey (until she whined so loud I could hear her in Colorado) is now openly stating that she will not be kept prisoner in her own home in Maine and fully intends to go out if she feels like it. Do they not remember taking the Hippocratic Oath? “I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure. I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.” (Lasagna, Hippocratic Oath).
  • Why can you, Barry, not keep your damned nose out of the states’ business and stop criticizing them for initiating their own forms of quarantine for those arriving from the infected areas? Personally, I do not think they are carrying it far enough! Fever or not, anyone with a Visa from West Africa should be quarantined for a minimum of 21 days before being allowed to engage with the general public. I would even go a step further. Quarantine them in their respective homelands for 21 days before they can get a Visa in the first place! Uh, oh. More common sense. AND, I guess I am a racist as well. Shit… You are not taking care of the business that is your business, so the people have to do it for you. Believe me, if I was able to build a fence along our southern border, I would do it myself. I would build humane quarantine facilities in the Border States and examine people for any and all communicable diseases. They would then be held for the time recommended for each individual disease or virus until they are medically cleared. Finally, I would ship them back to their own countries happy, healthy and out of our hair!

Take care of your own before others. If grown people choose to put themselves in harms’ way, they must accept responsibility for their actions, heroes or not. Our soldiers might be members of a volunteer military, but they seem to understand what others cannot. The mission is to protect our country, our children, first and foremost – above all else. All you care about protecting, Mr. Obama, is your own skinny ass.

I would like to thank Antonio F. Branco for allowing me to use his wonderful cartoon in this blog. Mr. Branco is an extremely talented artist with a kick butt sense of sarcasm and an uncanny grasp of the importance of events affecting our nation. The link to his work is

It was an impossible task trying to choose which quote I would use to open this post, so you must suffer through both.

“Data is not information, information is not knowledge, knowledge is not understanding, understanding is not wisdom.” ~ Clifford Stoll

During the current Congress (113th), Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) intends to present legislation that is intended to permit “the federal government [to] monitor radio, television and Internet speech for ‘hate,’ or material allegedly determined to be advocating or encouraging ‘violent acts…’” (examiner.com, 29 April 2014) This proposed bill is entitled the “Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014”.

Okay, so let’s take an educated guess as to what Harry Greed, the Ego in Chief, Senator Markey or any other defender of the oppressed masses might consider hate speech or words/material that would encourage people to go out and commit violent acts. My list would contain:

  • Anything the Tea Party writes, broadcasts or utters at rallies;
  • Anything Fox News broadcasts;
  • Any reports posted by Breitbart.com, The Daily Caller or other publications with a right-leaning editorial policy;
  • My blog;
  • The pages I “like” on Facebook (but Fuckerberg is already taking care of them by making their online lives miserable);
  • If we use the DHS model of Domestic Terrorism we would have to include Military Veterans, Christian Organizations, Constitutional Originalists, yada, yada, yada…;
  • Anything said by Cliven Bundy, his family, friends and supporters;
  • Anyone who believes that legal immigration is fine and illegally entering our country for whatever reason is not (sorry, Jeb, but I’m not buying the “love” thing);
  • Anyone who disagrees with Barry, or believes he and Eric Holder need to resign;
  • Anyone who sees that it is obvious that Harry Greed’s retirement is way overdue and he is just a doddering old fool;
  • Anyone who knows what this country was, sees the damage that has been done by the current Administration and chokes up during the “Star Spangled Banner” not due to pride, but a sense of loss felt deeply in our souls – then expresses their opinion in public.

Here is my list of people and things that might incite others to commit violent acts or who engage in hate speech with permission of His Majesty, The Anointed One:

  • Al Sharpton;
  • Barack Obama;
  • Al Sharpton;
  • Jesse Jackson;
  • Moochele Obama
  • Signs advertising “Gun Free Zones”;
  • Gun Control Advocates;
  • ELF;
  • Occupy Wall Street;
  • Al Sharpton;
  • Harry Greed;
  • Congressman Grayson (D-FL);
  • BLM;
  • And, just in case you missed it – Al Sharpton.

Markey’s proposal does not spell out the punishment that should be meted out to those who engage in such egregious activities, but I am pretty sure it will have something to do with losing your “communication privileges” either for a specified time or for life.

According to any articles I have read, he only has the support of 1% of those in the Senate, but this does not mean that Barry, with pen and phone in hand, wouldn’t push this through via Executive Order and hand control of it to the NSA. Although, Senator Markey had indicated at one point that a new Bureau should be created to do the monitoring. Yeah, right. Because we can really afford that! However, this kind of thought control is very appealing to Barry and I would not put it past him to institute the Barack Hussein Obama Bureau of Shut Up and Do as I Say.

The “Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014” will be given life – just like Shelley’s Frankenstein. Of that I am certain. The question is when and how.

Evil, Wicked, Mean and Nasty

Hypocrisy is not a way of getting back to the moral high ground. Pretending you’re moral, saying your moral is not the same as acting morally.” – Alan Dershowitz

Why is it evil, mean and nasty for Police, the FBI and/or CIA, DHS or any of the Alphabet Soup agencies in the United States to survey Muslim organizations? Since when have they backed down when someone whined about wiretaps or placing agents within their organizations? I mean, if you’re not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about, right? At least that’s what a lot of Obama brown nosers say when you mention your discomfort with the NSA!  I don’t understand people who are opposed to DHS keeping a close eye on groups like CAIR. NYC Mayor DiBlahblahblah is nearly apoplectic over this. I guess he didn’t see the memorial service for the 4 people killed during and after the Boston Bombing, or 13 souls lost in Fort Hood five years ago, or even remember stories of thwarted terror attempts right in the city where he works. Mr. Mayor, all of the offenders were Muslim. Who are you going to survey, the Mafia, the Hell’s Angels? Who? The Little Sisters of the Poor?

Oh, but wait! Those were “lone wolves” not “real terrorists”. Really? Where do you think they got their ideas, anger and training from? The “Spring Holiday No Longer to be Known as Easter” Bunny? NO! They got them from some Muslim organizations right here in the United States, online from radical Imams and some even went to “Terrorist Training Camps” for their summer vacations.

Let me ask you something, DiBlahblahblah. Do you think it was ethnic intimidation when the FBI watched every time Vincent Gigante, John Gotti, Sr., Al Capone or Paul Castellano farted? Was it unfair to single out Little Italy, The Italian Gun Club or other private clubs in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island or New Jersey? They were wire tapped. They were infiltrated and, at times, members were “convinced” to become rats – like that POS Sammy Gravano. No one blinked an eye or protested on the behalf of Italian-Americans!

What about the raids on motorcycle clubs? Yeah, well, you probably feel that no one gives a crap about those dirty bikers anyway. Most of them are family men who hold down good jobs. I know. I married one. You know, you dumb F**k, Harleys are not cheap! No one cries or protests when a fat, sorry, POS infiltrates a club or wiretaps are placed on personal phones. No one saw any problem with almost convicting two young mothers for talking about diapers on the phone (they were really talking about drugs so says the FBI). The FBI was wrong and the judge laughed them out of court, thank God.

I assume you would argue that they’re usually white. You would be wrong. Some are Mexican clubs, some are African American clubs and some could be Martians for all I know. But, why is it okay to target them and not CAIR for investigation? In a day-and-age when there are a gazillion surveillance cameras on almost every street in every major city in America, who isn’t being watched?

If you are going to push for the removal of surveillance of Muslim organizations, buddy, you better damned well do the same for the rest of us.
