I would like to thank everyone who wrote to find out why my big mouth has been quiet for a while. I have had the flu and can, quite honestly, say that I would not wish it on Jeanine Garofalo 😉
In light of the tragedy that occurred at Fort Hood, TX yesterday I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the families of those who were killed and to the entire Fort Hood community for the great losses they have suffered. My niece was stationed there in 2004, and I know she was treated well during her time in Texas.
I am hoping and praying for the quick recovery of those who were wounded.
Even though the physical wounds will heal, the emotional ones sometimes seem as though they never will. I hope you know that a grateful and supportive nation is behind you.
Hoping you’re feeling better Katrina, as I was wondering where you’ve been.
The Ft. Hood tragedy hit pretty close to home here, as I live in Ft. Worth and work for a company that has an office on the Ft. Hood base. My safety director was in my office that day (his son is stationed there too) and we were a bit concerned for the safety, of course of all, but of his kid there.
Take good care.
Tell your safety director that I hope his son is okay.
Thank you Katrina. He is okay.
